November Gallery Show - By: Chica
Wow, I am officially the first person to post here at the new efx2 in this blog, gah the pressure! Most of you know I received a Fujifilm Finepix S700 this last year for christmas, and I have went uphill ever since. I always knew I loved photo's, but never imagined myself to get this far with them. I haven't completed where I want to go in the world of photography, but it's only a short reach to my goal. Here are what I think are my finer photos.

As you can see I like to have a lot of variety in my photos. It was only up until a few months ago, I discovered what I can do with marbles and my camera. In some of my experiments with them, I used water and glass to make magic happen. Then I really found magic when I discovered, that if I just let the marble do what it's intended to do, I would come up with some amazing reflections inside that marble. It wasn't as easy as it sounds, I had to work really hard to get the photo's just so. Here is my marble series:

Abstraction
Bump in the Road
On the Chain
Playground
Magic
That about sums it up for the best of my photography. I use tools like Irfanview and Adobe Photoshop to help enhance my photo's or to create an effect. I also used to do a lot of digital art works, but I since I have had my camera, nothing else can compare.
I hope you enjoyed the show, and hopefully dial-up users don't hurt me, for posting this. lol.

Nice variety! Good show!
I've seen a few of these before, but it is nice to see them as one show! Congrats on getting this show up and for your help getting the wonderful Tastefulpixels Gallery back.
