January Gallery Show - By: MothMan
First off, I want to thank Jeeps for asking me if I'd be interested in making a post here.
I'm not sure that my photos live up to the standard shown by the previous entries here, but ... it's always nice to be given a slap on the back and a thumbs up by the occasional person. 
Just a couple notes about me, for those who haven't bumped into my along the way... I'm a hobbyist photographer, and pretty amateur at that. I'd been casually interested in photography for a number of years, but wasn't extremely keen on it... until I discovered the joy of digital photography.
I got my first digital camera (a compact Canon Powershot) a few years ago, and instantly fell in love with digital. From the ability to experiment for free (no wasted film), to the ability to instantly review, to the ability to always see, after the fact, what settings were used to achieve a given result, right through to the post-processing... I enjoy everything about it.
So, building on that, in January of '07, I bought myself (with the help, and blessing, of my lovely wife, Lisa) a rather expensive (for me) toy... a Canon 30D DSLR.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
All of the following photos are taken with the 30D, and various lenses.
You'll see that I take photos of a variety of subjects... I enjoy "messing around" with whatever. (though I find portraits to be a definite weakness for me).
So... without further ado, I'll get to it... some of my favorites.
